I'm pretty sure this place is no longer a Nudist Resort as It was bought several years ago by Non-Nudist people

At age 42 my new boyfriend invited me to a date at The Ledges. I was filled with anticipation and near fear wondering what an old fashioned girl like myself would do at such a place?

I am now 45 and count it as one of the best days of my life.

It was nothing at all like I thought it would be. It was the most natural thing to do and I felt completely at ease and at one with nature.

All the people on the beach and in the water were very nice and friendly. It was all very tasteful and FUN!!!

It is a very private location. We had a wonderful day having hit the Farmers Market in Wilmington for lunch and enjoyed a picnic at the public beach near the parking lot at sunset.

I am quite overweight and was feeling uncomfortable with my older out of shape body. Going to The Ledges was like a spiritual experience where I came to love my body for all it has pulled me through: car wrecks and child birth...

Thank you for making this place so beautiful and tasteful. I look forward to our next visit.
