Valley Sun Club

A wonderful quiet, spotless campsite, the warm welcome from the members made my all too short stay a memorable experience.

Stayed for a weekend in my tent for a well earned rest from work, the weather was terrible but the people I met made up for it, really friendly and such a lovely site. Will definitely be going back and might even become a member if they will have me.

I just spent the weekend at Valley club, what a lovely relaxing place. I was made very welcome by the members, who are a friendly bunch of people. I would definitely consider visiting again if I am in that part of the country

We're members here, and have our caravan on a lovely pitch. It's an idyllic spot between Harrogate and Knaresborough, private,but open with plenty of sunshine. There are large grassy meadows, and pitches are set around the periphery of the site. It's a members run site, with large pitches, a good modern shower block, another older shower block, a new licenced clubhouse with lovely upholstered furniture, and light wooden tables, and a wide screen TV for essentials such as the Olympics. Events take place regularly, and communal meals are served at the weekend in the clubhouse. There are barbecues, Boules Tournaments, and the last even this season will be Bonfire Night. Other local naturist clubs, such as YSS organise visits here.

Fees are very modest - for 2013 £110 per member, and £150 to site your caravan for a year. This is cheaper than some local storage only sites! Non-members are welcome to visit - £10 per night for a caravan, £8 per night for a tent, and there is a chalet or small caravan to rent. From the site there are walks into Harrogate or Knaresborough, along the Nidd gorge, and cycle routes into both places. At the end of the lane there is a pub with a good reputation, and there are plenty of shops nearby. The site is just off a bus route, and there are two train stations nearby.

We're on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors, the Yorkshire Dales, and Harrogate has a great cultural life, shows, events, and theatres. Leeds with amazing shopping opportunities is nearby.

A lovely place to stay. Very friendly members, who make you very welcome. A leisurely place to stay Wonderful new Club House. Will stay there again.
