Centre Pardigue is a small, friendly naturist campsite near the historic town of Sisteron in the Haute Provence. You will be made very welcome by Ria, the charming Dutch owner, who speaks excellent English. The thirty large pitches (with 4 amp electricity) are around the edge of a big level open field with stunning views of the mountains: the peace and quiet are only disturbed by a nightingale and the purring of turtle doves – a haven of pure nature. If you’re looking for a restaurant, disco or animations you won’t find them here - but you can help yourself from a fridge-freezer stocked with ice creams and drinks, note what you’ve had in an “honesty” booklet and pay the following day when you collect your bread, which is ordered the day before and is delicious – probably the best baguettes we’ve ever had. Once a week Ria organises a communal “bring and share” meal, when everyone contributes one dish for all to sample, and a pizza van calls once a week. The facilities are basic but clean, and the pool/wifi area is relaxed and regulation-free. Wifi costs €5 for an unlimited number of devices and for an unlimited time.
Six miles away is a large supermarket and an excellent launderette, and the old town of Sisteron is a must to visit.
If coming from the A51, the best approach is from Sortie 23 on the motorway, and access to the site on the D951 is easy.
This charming site is true naturism in every sense of the word – quite delightful!

This is another well run, very friendly Dutch naturist site. When you first arrive it seems a bit too open with not enough shade but there is a nice walk down to the nearby river where you can sit in the shade or lie in pools in the river.
