North East Skinny Dip 2015 babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!
It's back! Our annual opportunity to celebrate ourselves, life, nature and the changing of the seasons. If you have joined us before you will know that there is no better way to celebrate the summer and welcome the winter than stripping down to skin, at sunrise, and running wild and free into the North Sea with HUNDREDS of other people!!!
As the equinox falls mid-week in 2015 it has been decided to hold the dip on Sunday 27th September. Sunrise is at 07.00 but we ask dippers to arrive in plenty of time. As a guide it is advisable to be on the beach and ready to dip by 06.30. At previous events we have been blessed with clear skies and stunning views!
North East Skinny Dip is now in its FOURTH year running! Can you believe it? Much gratitude and kudos to all of you who have supported the event and helped keep the momentum up. We have grown in size and popularity each year. In 2014 we filmed with Tales from Northumberland with Robson Green and 2015 brings even bigger and better opportunities again.
Northumberland County Council have agreed to host our event at the beautiful Druridge Bay Country Park! These are exciting times. We finally have a venue which provides warmth, facilities, a car park and, most importantly, a place to gather post-skinny dip to share our experiences and hold the buzz! A vision I have held since the very beginning.
We want to ensure the event runs safely and effectively. There is, therefore, a registration fee. Still only £10! This will offset the cost of insurance, amenities, and first aid cover and all surplus funds will be donated to our chosen charity MIND-The Mental Health Charity, who have supported the event since its creation. Your registration pledges alone allow us to donate thousands to charity each year! We do encourage you to get sponsorship for the event and you can start fundraising straight away by following the link below ;)

As a registered particpant you will recieve full event details in an email as the event approaches. At our new venue there is scope for fires and bbq's and overnight camping! Ideas are flowing but no solid plans have been made yet so do keep your eye on social media for further information nearer the time.
