We invite you to explore the possibility of a naturist lifestyle with our clothing optional campgrounds.

Since 1978 Pacific Sun Friends has greeted people from around the world.  Whether you are a returning camper or a newbie, I am honoured that you are here; ready to explore the campgrounds & consider a clothing optional getaway.

Hello. I’m James & I am the owner & philosophical mind behind Pacific Sun Friends (PSF), a place of nature, for the peaceful transformation into a naturist lifestyle.  We offer a clothing optional campground for couples & families or community groups.  A place to rest, relax & unwind from the hustle & bustle of the everyday routine.

We are located in a small hidden pocket of Donnybrook Queensland; a nature-lovers paradise in Southeast Queensland within the Moreton Bay Region. From PSF you have access to local attractions within & around the Sunshine Coast & its Hinterland, the Glass House Mountains, Australia Zoo and the off-shore islands of Moreton & Bribie.

Throughout the year a number of events are held bringing friends and people together in an environment of acceptance and ease. We offer basic toilet and shower amenities, a camp kitchen, BBQ’s and manicured lawns. With large camp sites and the freedom to meander around the grounds & bends of Elimbah Creek; you are sure to find a spot you like.

And to this day, I still endeavour to provide this sanctuary that myself and my wife Jan, began putting our heart & soul into in the mid 80’s.  Sadly in March of 2022 the body of Jan left my side however she does continue to guide me spiritually & her presence is felt not only by myself but those of us who loved & cared for her.

NO PETS FRIENDLY REMINDER

From the 11th March 2024 Pacific Sun Friends were notified by Local Council that we could no longer have dogs or cats within our campgrounds.

The ONLY exception to this rule, is when Certified Documentation can be shown, confirming the animal is an Assistance or Therapy dog or cat.

We at PSF do this in the best interests of the park if we are to continue to operate. We realise this is upsetting however we must abide by Moreton Bay Council Regulations.

Our Facilities

Nestled in nature, Pacific Sun Friends offers basic facilities in a peaceful environment.

We have campgrounds with open grassy sites to enjoy the sun or shaded cool sites under the trees.

There are two (2) amenity blocks, both with toilets and hot showers.

We have a small Camp Kitchen with a fridge that is available to all our guests. Our multi-functional Club Hut is next to the Camp Kitchen & where we hold paid or free events both small & large with a seating capacity of up to 100 guests.

And if the sun or stars turns to rain, covered seating is arranged.

Activites for Any Age

Young or old, new or one of the regulars, we have an activity for you to enjoy!

Our bushwalking tracks provide the opportunity to explore the grounds and to get up close to nature. The Fern Walk is a favourite with many and the grounds are alive with an abundance of birdlife.

One of our walking tracks will lead to Sandy Beach on a corner of Elimbah Creek, which is tidal. It is a serene setting, ideal for swimming & soaking up the sun. To explore the creek further, you may like to drop in a kayak or try a spot of fishing – flathead, bream, mangrove jacks & mud crabs are there, if you’re patient.

If you like to keep dry, we have Chip-Putt Golf, Mini-Ten, Petanque and Lawn Bowls, although it can be a little bumpy… Ha! Ha!

Throughout our 45 years, Pacific Sun Friends has endeavoured to live up to its name; welcoming people from around the world & within our own backyard.

Upon entering PSF you will feel a sense of calm and ease, a known comfort for many of our regular visitors who graciously, consider us as a second home.

The grounds provide a peaceful & respectful environment for our clothed or nude fellow humans.

Whether you like to meet new people or enjoy your own space, we love to provide you with the opportunity of an alternative breakaway amongst what nature has to offer.
