I have contacted this club just to have a half day visit, early this year, but their secretary rebuffed me as a single male. Family only club

We have stayed at the Notts Sun Club quite a few times in our motorhome and find the club not only to be incredibly beautiful in the most amazing setting, but also received and warm and friendly welcome. Although this is not a commercial camping site and you have to give notice not just turn up, once you are settled in you have all the facilities you could wish for with a swimming pool, sauna and new showers and kitchen with a proper kitchen cooker with oven, fridge freezer and cutlery, crockery and pans to cook with. The new showers are 20p per 3 minute shower and the water is hot and facilities clean and spacious. We were so impressed by the club we have joined! There is a special offer for their 75th Anniversary meaning that they are virtually giving away the memebrship this year for you to join and they are keen to attract new members of all ages. I recommend the Notts Sun Club to everyone whether it be a day trip, holiday or a place to join a great club.
